I like scuba diving better than snorkeling because you are UNDER the water and you are seeing more of the reef. Snorkeling is more chaotic because you are on the surface of the ocean.
Scuba diving is peaceful. It is peaceful because it is quiet, there are fewer people, and all you hear are the bubbles of your breathing. On my dive, it was just me and my dad and we saw more fish, details in the coral, and more of what was hiding behind the coral. This one time we were in the water and I looked over and saw a bunch of fish inside an archway of coral. It was really cool how the coral made an arch and you definitely couldn’t see that from the surface. I was also more focused on what I was seeing rather than worrying about where my guide was or other things that were happening on top of the water. Everything is more clear and focused when you are under the water.

Snorkeling on Mexico Rocks was really windy so it was hard to navigate. The wind also made waves and made the visibility low. But I got to see many reef animals like an octopus, barracuda, and a heart shaped out of conch shells made by the local guides. My mom saw a puffer fish. Here are photos from my snorkeling adventure.
